Hi Evan, yes, I'm selling them. No, I haven't found anything similar to that yet. Do let me know if you've finally found these boxes for sale anywhere. I'll let you know if I find them too. :o)

Hi Mel,

Spotlight used to sell them, but I was there just 2 weeks ago and they didn't have many left. In any case, they were very expensive (for than $4 each). I bought most of mine from a shop in KL.

Dear Karen:

I absolutely adore your macarons. I have been making macarons for over 10 years for my parents' friends and family. But, I only make coffee-flavored ones because that's the only flavor that they like and/or will eat. So, twice a year for Christmas and Chinese New Years, I have to make hundreds of them. Gosh, I wished that they would open their minds or taste buds so I can experiment with different flavors. No such luck.

I think that I must have every book on macaron ever published (mostly in French).

Happy Holidays!

Sherry Chan

P.S. If you are ever in San Francisco, please contact me. I have an obsession with bakeries, thus, I can give you a tour of all the bakeries in the Bay Area.

Dear Karen:

Once again, absolutely love your macarons. I was wondering would you mind sharing your sesame macaron recipe, please. My parents love sesame flavor, so I thought perhaps, they will try a sesame macaron (vs. always eating the coffee flavored ones). I could make it for them for Chinese New Year dinner!

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

Sherry

Hi Karen,

Could you tell me where you're based? I'm wondering if it's possible to make an order from you.

Hi, i was just wondering how fine must the sieve be when you sieve the almonds? I found this process extremely time consuming and tried to grind the store bought ground almonds but they became like a paste and I still had to use my hands to try and push them through the sieve....

Janice: I use a regular sieve, the same kind used to sift flour. The almonds should not become a paste. You can try grinding the almonds together with the icing/confectioner's sugar that is required in your recipe. This will prevent the almonds from turning into a paste. You'll still have to push the more stubborn bits through the sieve though.
